Cadets will experience a highly disciplined, military-style work environment during their two-year residential training in Karachi. Upon successful completion, they earn an Associate Degree in Maritime Studies from NED University of Engineering & Technology, alongside certificates recognized by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Salary package may vary according to the position and company policy after the training phase concludes.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be an unmarried male citizen of Pakistan.
- Age limit is a maximum of 20 years by December 31, 2026 (a one-year age relaxation applies to candidates from FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, AJK, and Balochistan).
- Educational requirement is FSc (Pre-Engineering) or A-Level (Physics, Chemistry, Math) with a minimum of 55% marks.
- A-Level students must submit an Equivalence Certificate.
- Candidates who have passed FSc Part-I with at least 60% marks can apply using a Hope Certificate issued by their college principal.
- Must pass the physical efficiency test (PET), which includes a 1.6 km run in 8.5 minutes, 15 push-ups in 2 minutes, 15 sit-ups in 2 minutes, and 2 chin-ups in 2 minutes.
- Color-blind candidates are strictly ineligible.

Important NOTE:
It is crucial to remember that the final date to submit your forms is 23 July 2026. After the application phase, eligible students will need to appear for an NTS Entry Test scheduled for Sunday, 9 August 2026. This test will be conducted in multiple cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, and others. Preparation for both the written exam and the subsequent physical efficiency and medical tests is highly recommended, as selection is strictly based on merit and medical fitness at all stages of the recruitment process.
